Introducing the NextCore RN100 LiDAR, designed by the Australian company Airsight the RN100 is built specifically for the DJI M600. Utilising the Quanergy M8 LiDAR unit, the RN100 comes as payload only option and allows operators who already have access to suitable GNSS data to use their existing base station equipment or RINEX subscriptions to process accurate LiDAR datasets.
Rundown of the day:
Our commercial team will be hosting a demo day in the Christchurch region (exact location tbc) to demonstrate the possibilities of using LiDAR on drones. On the day we will be showcasing the latest LiDAR release the RN100 which has the ability to fly at 100 meters and deliver 50mm RSMS accurate results.
On the day, we will:
Demonstrate in real-time how data is generated from the LiDAR unit and processed in the field.
Showcase best practice when capturing data and showcase the seamless workflow from data capture to process.
Discuss differentiate basic photogrammetry features with the LiDAR to gain a better understanding of whether a LiDAR unit is best suitable for projects and operations where photogrammetry is limited.
Lastly, our team will be answering all questions about the LiDAR system and provide insights on feasibility studies, project proposals and existing drone operations where the RN100 LiDAR can make a difference.
