Introducing the NextCore RN50 LiDAR, designed by the Australian company Airsight. Built specifically for the DJI M600, utilizing the Quanergy M8 LiDAR unit, the RN50 comes as payload only option and allows operators who already have access to suitable GNSS data to use their existing base station equipment or RINEX subscriptions to process accurate LiDAR data sets.
Our commercial team will be hosting a demo day in the upper North Island (Warkworth Motorway Project) to demonstrate the capabilities of using LiDAR on drones. LiDAR has great potential in surveying, forestry, energy infrastructure and asset inspection.
On the day, we will be joined by the team from Airsight, the Australian manufacturers of the NextCore RN50 LiDAR unit that we're excited to distribute in New Zealand.
We will demonstrate in real-time how data is generated from the LiDAR unit and process it the field.
Talk about basic requirements of the LiDAR unit and customization options with the DJI Matrice M600.
Differentiate basic photogrammetry features with the LiDAR to gain a better understanding of whether a LiDAR unit is best suitable for projects and operations where photogrammetry is limited.
Lastly, our team will be answering all questions about the LiDAR system and provide insights on feasibility studies, project proposals and existing drone operations where the RN50 LiDAR can make a difference.
